Deli Seattle is the newest addition to Seattle’s garment boutique scene. With a successful opening party this past Thursday, Deli Seattle is ready to open their doors to the public on Saturday, May 30th.

Deli possesses an interesting theme with the entire boutique revolving around a deli, which derives from the German word “delicatessen”, meaning “delicacies” or “fine foods”. The correlation between their name and top quality products is evident in the ambiance of the store.

Even if you are not interested in the clothes that Deli Seattle sells, the nature of the store is enough to galvanize your attention. With dressers that simulate supermarket freezers, baker’s racks used to display t-shirts, exclusive t-shirts poly-sealed like wedges of meat, to even their dressing room designed to look like a meat locker, Deli Seattle conveys a shop with unique sensibility.

Just to name a few, they carry brands such as Penguin, RVCA, Two in the Shirt (TITS), and Imaginary Foundation.

Located it the heart of Seattle’s Pioneer Square, Deli Seattle is a great addition to the boutiques of Seattle. Be sure to check them out!

  1. They really ran with that Deli theme and did a great job.

Those pictures are hella tight…do they carry Steez Luis in there?

    pretty cool concept

i personally think it’s really cheesy. a bit of a bite off DQM. and in 3 years they will look at it and get really tired and bored of it. A.P.C.’s Jean Toitou said it best that shop space designs should be more classic and need some more foresight so they don’t get played out in a few years

  5. I dig it … for now. I mean, it seems like the store’s aesthetic is pretty cool, but I’m not sure if I’ll feel the same way 6 months from now.

And it’s true, the whole white-wired shelves from a supermarket are so played out. I see them everywhere. And so while they think they’re being innovative, I just see it as imitation. … but then again, what do I know, I’m just a writer.

I think its a great idea, and if they keep the merchandise fresh, they’ll last and impress for years to come.

I think the family owns real delis so i see the connection and why they’d pull the idea through this is also the first of it’s kind in Seattle that I’ve seen and it’s pretty awesome glad to see someone ready and willing to take a step forward in fashion.

keep it up Deli, can’t wait to see what you guys have planned for future.
