Don’t you get a sense that the asian version of frozen yogurt is just a fad. It’s asian because the other (white) frozen yogurt is like the one you get at Costco. Kinda like the pullover fleece from old navy or an anorak from GAP it will go out of fashion. I use to rock those during middle school along with my pair of Lugz ( I know you had one too). It seems lately that random ass frozen yogurt shops are popping up all over the place matching Starbucks punch for punch. Even bubble tea shops i.e. Pochi’s added yogurt to their repertoire.
I wonder if business will be good if the econonmy goes down hill? Isn’t this a luxury food item not a staple like rice or kimchee (haha, I love making fun of Koreans)? $5 is a little steep for some yogurt. I kinda hope the bandwagon bubble bursts and they all go out of business to prove my point but I do like my yogurt. My favorite is regular yogurt with mochi, strawberries and granola, Yummy. What’s your favorite flavor and toppings?

Tutti Frutti- located inside southcenter mall, self serve, 10-12 rotating flavors
Citra Frozen Yogurt- on the Ave
Utopia- inside of “waji’s” Uwajimaya’s
Shnoo- In Kirkland, “What’s Shnoo with you?”
Pinkberry- ehh, franchise though
Yogurt Land- Sooooo good, self serve, tons of flavors but not in WA

you forgot SNHOO in kirkland. and MELON, so yum, they have a different flavor to try every week. Y’ALL should try: Regular with FRUITY PEBBLES and MOCHI and at Pochi’s try TARO. YUM. =)

- Regular w/ mochi balls + fruity pebbles
- Peach w/ Mochi balls and Granola

Yo-Berry’s dragondruit flavor is pretty legit. It’s a bit tart though, like them small lil asian drinks, so if you’re not a fan of those, this place probably aint for you.
I agree that the bubble will burst soon and these places will have to go out of business.
it’s a fad for me for sure. I’m not eating ice cream or yogurt until it gets above 65 again unless i’m inside my house where I keep my room at a warm 80.

yummmm frozen yogurt…but how many of them are truly frozen yogurt though? I know Pinkberry for sure is not real frozen yogurt…but I did like it a lot…and then I really liked schnoo when they were at the Bite? I think it was them. I usually get strawberries, raspberries and captain crunch. ooh and blackberries!
I agree…it’s expensive though…muahaha that’s why I don’t eat it as much!
